During a check to make sure that the improvements required had been made

At our last inspection on 16 July 2012 we found there was no system in place to manage and control the risk from Legionella. Recommended actions in the Legionella risk assessment had not been carried out.

The provider has taken appropriate action to address this.

During a routine inspection

We spoke with two people using the service and asked them if their treatment options had been explained to them in a way they understood. They told us treatment options and fees payable had been explained and they had made an informed decision. People commented: - 'I get lots of information about my treatment', 'I'm always aware of the costs' and 'they always explain why my treatment is necessary'.

When asked about the care and treatment they had received people said: - 'they're always very good, the people are really nice and friendly', 'I'm very happy with my treatment and my quality of life is improved' and 'it's a very good service and they give good advice'.
