During a routine inspection

We spoke to two people who used the practice and two staff employed in the practice along with the dentist who was also the provider. We were also able to look at six patient records and 67 completed questionnaire surveys carried out by the service. From these records and conversations we found that all patients, who had given a response, felt that that they were treated well at the practice and that they were receiving quality treatment and care.

One person said "I have a fear of going to the dentist - but due to the service I receive from Mark (the dentist) and his team, I keep coming back." Another person stated "the service is exceptional and everyone is really kind and helpful."

We found that all of the survey questionnaires from adults were positive and scored high. We also looked at the feedback from children who used the orthodontic service. They showed in all cases that they were happy with the results of treatment to straighten their teeth.

The two staff members we spoke to had been at the practice since it opened eight years ago and spoke highly of the provider and the patients they saw on a regular basis. They said that they had been encouraged to attend training, update their knowledge and were supported by the provider to maintain standards of care to patients using the service.
