During a routine inspection
Regarding the standard of care offered, people said they were treated with courtesy and respect and that dental staff were able to put them at their ease. One person told us, 'Very satisfied with all aspects of treatment.' Another person said, 'Very impressed with the service ' very happy.'
During our inspection we spoke with two Associate Dentists, a Dental Nurse, reception staff and the Practice Manager. Discussions with these staff showed they were alert to their responsibilities should they have concerns about the safety and well being of any child or vulnerable adult. The practice was clean, and appropriate arrangements were in place to prevent and control infections.
We checked a sample of staff records and found appropriate training had been carried out. One person commented, 'The dentist and staff are always very helpful and informative.' Another person told us, 'I have this dentist and would not change it; the staff are fabulous to me.' We found that people were cared for by staff who were supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard.
