During a routine inspection
Regarding the standard of care offered, people said they were treated with courtesy and respect and that dental staff were able to put them at their ease. One person told us, 'I have been treated with kindness and courtesy.' Another person simply said, 'Excellent.'
During our inspection we spoke with an Associate Dentist and the Practice Manager. Discussions with these staff showed they were alert to their responsibilities should they have concerns about the safety and well being of any child or vulnerable adult. The practice was clean, and appropriate arrangements were in place to prevent and control infections.
We checked a sample of staff records and found appropriate training had been carried out. One person commented, 'Amazing staff; friendly and always happy to help; great advice.' We found that people were cared for by staff who were supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard.
