During a routine inspection
People told us that were given clear information about their planned treatment and the estimated costs. They said that they were given options and asked for their consent before any treatment was given. We saw evidence of this in the records that we looked at. One person said, 'They give good advice. They are never pushy and they don't tout for extras.'
Staff were suitably trained and supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard. People spoke in a complimentary way about the staff at Spirals Dental Practice. Comments included, 'Staff are polite, nice and approachable" and 'The dentists know exactly what they are doing.'
There was an effective complaints system in place. Comments and complaints people made were listened to and responded to appropriately.
