Staff and leaders told us of the systems in place to manage risks for patients, staff, equipment and the premises. At the assessment on 4 July 2024 we found the practice had made the following improvements to comply with the regulation: Following our inspection on 13 February 2024, the provider submitted a range of supporting evidence addressing the shortfalls we identified, demonstrating the providers commitment to improving the service for both staff and patients. These processes and systems were embedded within the practice.

At the assessment on 4 July 2024 we found the practice had made the following improvements to comply with the regulation: All actions had been carried out as recommended in the fire safety risk assessment. A satisfactory 5 year electrical safety certificate was obtained. All recommended remedial works were completed by a competent person. A new radiograph processor had been installed. We found radiograph audits were carried out in line with guidance and action plans developed when required. The practice had also made further improvements: The sharps risk assessment reflected processes in place. Safety devices for dismantling syringes were in use. The treatment room which required attention had undergone a complete refurbishment. Suitable signage had been displayed for the closed-circuit television (CCTV) and we were informed that the audio recording had been turned off.
