During a routine inspection
People who used the service told us they were fully involved in decisions about their treatment and their consent was sought before treatment began. They told us they felt comfortable to ask questions about the treatments available. One person told us: "The dentist is excellent, he always explains what he is going to do and why'.
All of the people we spoke with told us that the staff were always polite and treated them respectfully. One person said: 'Everyone here is very nice, including the reception staff ' very welcoming and always have a smile for you'.
People we spoke with told us that the dental practice was always kept clean. We saw there were good standards of hygiene and infection control practices in place.
We found that the practice was suitable and accessible for people who used the service.
The staff worked together as a team. They told us they were supported by the dentist and had access to a range of training to ensure their skills and knowledge were kept up to date.
All the people we spoke with told us that they never had to make any complaints. However if they did, they were confident their views would be listened to.
