During a routine inspection

We looked at the systems and processes put in place for the management of outpatient services on behalf of the NHS. We found an effective triage process to ensure that patients received an appropriate service, at a location close to home with the correct investigations undertaken and recorded before attending a consultant appointment. The provider did not manage the in patient services located on the site.

People told us that they were involved in the planning for their appointment and received a safe service by appropriately trained staff. There were safety measures in place and processes to monitor the quality of the service.
