During a routine inspection
Those we spoke with provided us with very positive feedback about the quality of service received. They told us that their relatives' needs were being appropriately met and that they were safe whilst care and treatment was being delivered. Staff were described as, 'efficient', 'reliable' and 'professional'.
Comments received included:
"Tender Nursing Care is an excellent service. We have carers come in during the day from somewhere else. There is no comparison whatsoever. Tender Nursing Care is in a different league. The staff are very kind. I have no complaints at all."
"We are very happy with the care (name removed) receives. We have been very lucky. The staff member who visits us is great and we have her all the time. She knows (named removed) well and therefore they get on very well. She has become a friend of the family."
During our visit to this location, we looked at the care and welfare of those using the service and how infection control was managed. We also assessed recruitment practices and how complaints were handled. Standards relating to monitoring the quality of service provision were examined. We did not identify any concerns in the areas we assessed on this occasion.
