During an inspection looking at part of the service

As the focus of this inspection was to check progress in addressing our previous concerns about cleanliness, the building and equipment we did not discuss these areas in detail with the people living here. When we spoke with the people living here most appeared satisfied with the care and support they received. The home was warm, and staff were courteous and attentive to people's needs.

During an inspection looking at part of the service

People using the service told us that:

' They had not been asked to give their consent to staff at the home providing them with care and support;

' They had not been told the name of their key worker or asked about how their care needs should be met;

' They felt safe at the home and that staff looked after them well;

' They were satisfied with the cleanliness of the home and their bedrooms;

' They had no concerns about the premises, although one person said that they did not like the bird excrement on the rear windows;

' They had not been asked to comment on the quality of the care and support they receive.
