During a routine inspection
We found that the people who used the service had appropriate care plans in place which met their individual needs. People were supported to be as independent as possible and staff told us how they respected people's individuality. We spoke with three people who used the service and they commented that they were very happy with the delivery of care and support offered by the service.
People we spoke with told us that they felt safe when the carers were with them. They told us that the carers were more like friends to them.
We spoke with three care workers who all enjoyed working for the company. They told us that they felt supported by the manager and they worked well as a team. Staff told us that they received regular support from the manager or a care supervisor. Staff felt able to talk to the manager if there was a problem and felt confident that the issue would be resolved.
We found that the service provided the appropriate care to people who used the service. We spoke with three care workers who gave good examples of how they would respect and support people while maintaining choice and independence.
