During a routine inspection

During our inspection we examined evidence which demonstrated to us that people's consent was obtained before any care and support was provided to them. People's continued consent to receive care and support was regularly checked with them.

Records examined showed that people were involved in the planning of their own care and support and that they received care according to their own personal needs.

People were protected from the risk of abuse because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify abuse and prevent it from happening.

There were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet people's needs.

People were made aware about how to make a complaint if they felt they needed to.

During a routine inspection

During our visit to the office, we collected some comments from people who use the service. They told us that the service was well organised and run, that people benefited from it and that their entire experience was very positive.

People told us that they were happy with the service. They also told us that their care workers were, 'Very good'. Some people commented on close bonds with some care workers and expressed their personal thanks to named carers.
