During a routine inspection
All the people spoken with knew how they could make their views known if they were
not happy with the service provided. All said there had been ongoing consultation around the provision of personal care being taken over by Knowsley Home Care Associates Ltd.
The people using the service said that they were getting the support from the staff that they need. Some comments made about the service were;
"The girls are pretty good. They give me the help I need."
"The staff are very good and very pleasant. I get the support I need. If I need them they come straight away. They arrange for me to see my GP when I need to. I am very happy."
""The staff are well mannered and respectful. I get the help that is needed."
Knowsley Council reported that the service has been working well during the last twelve months and they have had good feedback about the care staff when they have attended the residents consultation meetings. They reported that improvements were needed to the range of social and leisure activities available.
