During a routine inspection

We spoke with two patients and their relatives who told us they were satisfied with the service provided. One patient said “I feel happy and in good hands”. Another patient said “I feel looked after”.

Treatment or investigation plans were explained and discussed with patients, including choices about treatment and costs. Patients said that all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Patients were protected from the risk of abuse as staff had received training in the safeguarding of vulnerable adults. There were written instructions for staff to follow in order to report suspected abuse.

Patients using the service could be confident that their health and welfare needs would be met by staff who were appropriately qualified and trained to enable them to carry out their job.

There was an effective complaints system available. Comments and complaints patients made were responded to appropriately.

During a routine inspection

On the day of our inspection there was one patient available to tell us what they thought about the service.

The patient we spoke with told us that they had had a very good experience at CVS Health. They said that the staff were very good, respectful and professional. They said that they were treated as an individual and their needs were met in a way that suited them best. They said, "I can't praise them enough. They were kind and considerate. They gave me all the reassurance I needed to go through with the procedure".

Patients had enough information to help them make decisions about the service and the procedure they were going to have.

During a routine inspection

On the day of our visit there were no people available to tell us what they thought about the service. We spoke with people who had used the service over the telephone.

The people we spoke with told us that they had had a very good experience at CVS Health. They said that the staff were very good, respectful and professional. They said that they were treated as individuals and their needs were met in a way that suited them best.

People had enough information to help them make decisions about the service and the procedure they were going to have.

One person said, 'I can't praise them enough. They were kind and considerate. They gave me all the reassurance I needed to go through with the procedure'.
