During an assessment under our new approach
Staff were employed safely and had all the training they needed for their roles. There were enough staff to meet people’s needs and staff told us they were well supported. Medicines were managed safely, and staff worked in partnership with many healthcare professionals. The service was purpose built and everyone had their own en-suite room. People had access to outside garden space. The environment was clean, and we observed staff wearing personal protective equipment safely. The provider had a complaints policy and process and encouraged feedback from people and relatives in a variety of ways. Governance systems were effective to assess, monitor and improve the quality and safety at the service.
