Staff spoke about the changes the registered manager had put in place. One said, "So much empowerment now."

The provider made sure people and their representatives had ways to give feedback on the care and support provided at the home. This included monthly meetings with key workers to discuss how people were, and any new things they wanted to try.

The provider had policies and procedures to promote people’s rights and choices. We saw easy read letters were sent to people to explain and apologise if something had gone wrong. If this was inappropriate a letter would be sent to a family member.
