During a routine inspection

People told us that they are fully involved in the planning of their care and support needs. They told us they have regular meetings with their key workers where they are consulted about their care and support needs. They told us they also have residents meetings where they can voice their opinions about how the home is run.

People said that they are involved in the running of the home and are actively involved in shopping for provisions, preparing meals and cleaning their own rooms and the communal areas of the home.

People said they enjoy going out and are supported by staff in activities such as, going to clubs, pubs, cafes, going shopping, accessing college, going horse riding, trips to the cinema, going on holiday and going for walks in the country. They said sometimes they prefer to do things on their own and other times they go out as a group.

People said they felt safe and if anything was wrong they would speak to the manager or another member of staff.
