During a routine inspection
A relative told us that they had experienced problems with another agency and were wary about taking up a new service. They had put the agency under a lot of scrutiny. The relative said that they had been pleasantly surprised. They said that the agency was, 'Better organised and I feel that I am communicated with.'
A person who had recently started to use the service told us that they were happy with the service. They said support workers made their meals, gave them their medication and supported them to have a bath. They said that their regular support worker was 'Very nice, but they are all very good.'
One relative we spoke with about the agency said that care workers were, 'Reliable, they never missed a call during the recent bad weather and if they were going to be late they would phone and let us know.' Another relative commented that the care workers were, 'An excellent team. We have a good relationship with them. Same carers, same faces. We asked for continuity as my wife has dementia. They don't rush and I can't fault them.'
