During a themed inspection looking at Domiciliary Care Services
We visited four people in their homes. They told us that they were very happy with the care and support they received. We asked people about the way they were treated by staff when they visited. People told us they felt care workers were very polite and respectful, one person told us, 'I have never had a problem, I know who is coming and they know what to do, I always feel they treat me with respect and are really nice'.
We also spoke to 14 people over the telephone. All of the people spoken to were very complimentary about the agency and about the way they were treated. We heard comments such as, 'The staff are a great help to me', "I have a good working relationship with the staff who visit me', 'all the staff are very good. They look after us both very well' and I 'can't fault Crossroads Care'.
All of the people spoken with told us they received the exact time they were paying for and that staff arrived on time. They also told us that they felt the care plans had been drawn up recognising their needs.
