During a routine inspection

People told us that the service has improved considerably in the last few months. They said that at the beginning of 2010 the service was chaotic, and they blamed the management and office team for the problems at that time. They said that the service was running much more smoothly now and they now had small teams of regular care workers who knew them well and understood their care needs. They praised the care workers who visited them and said they were confident they would not be left without a visit. In recent weeks they have received good information about the service, and received regular timetables telling them who would be visiting them, and when. Their care needs have been discussed and agreed and the care plans have been clearly written and set out clearly every task they need support with and how they want it to be carried out. They felt confident that if they had any concerns they could speak to someone in the agency office and it would be sorted out to their satisfaction.
