During a routine inspection
Three visitors to the home spoke positively about the care being provided to their relative. They said 'staff are helpful', 'staff are very good', 'staff keep us informed' and 'the staff keep the place going'.
People's comments about the food included: 'the food is ok'; 'I'm not really asked what I like'; 'I'm not offered food I am used to'; 'the food over the weekend is not as good as in the week'; 'meals are good'good breakfast, plenty of food' and 'I enjoy the food'. One visitor stated that 'the dinners are really nice here' but felt that the suppers could be improved.
Visitors told us the home and bedrooms are always clean and fresh. Four people told us they are happy with their room, saying they are 'comfortable and happy' and that it is 'nice and clean'.
