During a routine inspection

We contacted people using the service, relatives and commissioners. They told us they felt people using the service were treated with dignity and respect. One person said "The care staff are impeccable, very very good". Someone else said "If I wasn't happy he wouldn't be there" referring to a relative. People had discussed the available care options with the agency before agreeing the type of care and support they wanted and when they needed it.

They said the quality of care they received from trained and competent staff was good, delivered appropriately and they felt safe with the service they received. We were told "I haven't met one member of staff I wouldn't recommend", "They are good at taking people out" and "I am extremely satisfied with the service".

They also said that there were enough staff to meet the needs of people using the service and they were in contact with the agency. One person said they were attending a review meeting in the near future.

During a routine inspection

People who use the service told us that they received good care. They told us that they really liked the home where they lived and that the staff gave them good support. One person said, 'I am happy living here and I have lots of friends here'. Another person told us, 'the staff help me to be as independent as possible'.

The staff told us that they felt supported in their roles and the service was well managed. They told us that they supported people to learn new skills and to have individual care which met their needs.
