During our visit staff were observed to be unhurried, respectful and considerate to the people who lived at home. The people who used the service were supported by a designated primary worker. When we examined the care plans we saw that they were personalised and contained evidence of consent to living at the home. They also contained records of the one to one discussions and weekly activity schedules agreed between the primary worker and the people for whom they were responsible. In addition, the people who lived at the home were being supported to progressively manage their own finances, self-medicate, maintain their own room and hygiene, plan the communal meals as well as self-cater
