The food is very nice, I don't like hot food so they made me a tuna salad today.The cook writes the menu on the board in the dining room so that people can see what is on offer that day.
There is plenty going on, a music therapist comes once a week and there is a church service once a week. The activities co-ordinator is very good and takes people out shopping or on trips.
There is a meeting once a month for people living in the home and relatives. At the last one we discussed trips out. Three boat trips have been arranged and a night out at the Victoria Theatre for an evening of music.
There are plans to redecorate the lounges and dining room, this will make them much nicer for people to use.
I like my bedroom and it is kept clean and tidy.
I visit regularly and staff keep me up to date about my relatives condition.
One of the positive things about Claremount House is getting people out and about in the community. Whenever I visit the activities co-ordinator is always of out with someone.
If I was unhappy about anything I would tell a member of staff.
I get on well with the staff and I like them.
Staff know a lot about the people in their care. When I visit any information I need is made available.
