Lime Tree and Sinnott Healthcare is located in a residential area in east London based in a converted house. There were 6463 patients registered with the practice 25% of whom did not have English as a first language. The practice scored two on the index of multiple deprivation score where a score of one represents the most derived and 10 is the least deprived.
The practice has one female GP partner, two female salaried GPs and two male sessional GPs, who complete a total of 32 sessions per week; there was also a female practice nurse who completes eight sessions per week. The practice has one practice manager, an assistant practice manager and six administration and reception staff members. The practice worked closely with a neighbouring practice who it shared staff members with.
The practice operates under a Personal Medical Services (PMS) contract (a locally agreed alternative to the standard GMS contract issued when services are agreed locally with a practice which may include additional services beyond the standard contract).
The practice is open Monday to Friday between 8am and 6:30pm where extended hours are on a Monday evening until 8pm and Tuesday and Wednesday evening until 7:30pm. Telephones are answered from 8am and appointments times are as follows:
Monday 8am to 12:45pm and 2pm to 7:50pm.
Tuesday 8am to 12:45pm and 2pm to 7:15pm.
Wednesday 8am to 12:45pm and 2pm to 7:15pm.
Thursday 8am to 12:45pm and 2pm to 6:15pm.
Friday 8am to 12:45pm and 2pm to 5:20pm.
The locally agreed out of hours provider covers calls made to the practice when the practice is closed and the practice is a part of the local HUB which provides GP and nurse appointments to patients on weekday evenings and on weekends when the practice is closed.
Lime Tree and Sinnott Healthcare operates regulated activities from one location and is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide treatment of disease, disorder or injury, diagnostic and screening procedures and maternity and midwifery services.
