During a routine inspection
We found people's needs had been assessed and the information had been used to develop care plans for people, which recorded their wishes and expectations with regards to the care they received. People we spoke with told us they were involved in making decisions about the arrangements for the delivery of their care and support.
Staff had undergone a robust recruitment process and pre-employment checks had been carried out to ensure there suitability to work with people. Staff had been supported to enable them to deliver safe and effective care as they had received support through day to day contact with the provider and registered manager (owners of the service) and through formal supervision. Staff had access to training, which they regularly updated to enable them to meet people's needs safely and well.
The provider had systems in place to monitor the overall quality of the service, which included regular contact with people who used the service and the checking of written records and policies.
