Eniro care is a domiciliary care agency supporting people in their own homes in the Didcot and Oxfordshire area. At the time of the assessment 46 older people were being supported by the service. The assessment was conducted because this was an unrated service. This assessment started on 23 April 2024 and concluded on 26 April 2024. We looked at all the quality statements. People told us they felt safe being supported by the service. Staff knew how to identify and report any concerns. Safe staffing levels were consistently maintained, and people and their relatives told us staff were punctual. The provider had safe recruitment and selection processes in place. Risks were managed through an effective risk management process. Medicines were managed safely, and people received their medicines as prescribed. Evidence showed accidents and incidents were managed safely and lessons were learnt. People were positive of the staff caring nature and told us they were supported to be independent and treated as individuals. People and their relatives told us the registered manager was approachable and visited them, periodically in their own homes. People’s opinions were sought and acted upon. Staff were aware of their roles and responsibilities and the provider supported them to maintain their professional development. The service was well managed with a management team who worked well together. There was a clear management structure which aided the smooth running of the service. People and relatives told us the service was well-led and they knew the management team. Staff worked well together and felt supported by the management team. The provider had effective quality assurance systems which were used to improve care.
