Archived: Prevention and Crisis Support Service (London Borough of Sutton)

The manager has told us that people's views regarding the service they received will now be sought a week after they have finished providing the support.

Following an initial assessment, the service provides a short term package of care and support. Their intentionis to help people to regain their independence. If it is considered that people will need ongoing care, referrals would then be made to an independent provider.

The people we spoke with who had used the service confirmed that staff had all been helpful and supportive, telling us 'they're all lovely, very polite and helpful'.

Equipment to support them had been provided in a timely manner.
