During a routine inspection
We found that people had assessments and care plans that guided staff in how best to support people so their needs were met.
We found that staff received training and had procedures to follow to ensure that people were protected from the risk of abuse or poor practice.
We found that improvements had been made in the timeliness of calls and people told us that staff followed care plans and completed the required tasks. Comments included, 'The carers are lovely ' I have no concerns at all', 'I have very nice carers and they come on time. They were late once so I rang up and they came straight away', 'They are lovely and very good. There were issues at the beginning but not now' and 'They put a good team of care staff in to help us.'
Staff had access to training programmes and told us they received enough training and support to give them the skills and confidence to carry out their role. People who used the service found staff to be caring, friendly and competent.
People told us they completed questionnaires and were able to express their views about the quality of the service they received.
