During a routine inspection
We found that people were treated with respect and that they were asked for their consent before any care was provided. We saw that the provider worked in co-operation with others to ensure that people's health, safety and welfare were protected. For example, staff had contacted the occupational therapist to reassess one person's needs when their mobility difficulties had increased.
Some people received support from staff to administer their medication. The provider had systems in place to train staff and ensure that people received their prescribed medicines safely and appropriately.
We found that people were supported by a regular staff team who had the skills and experience to meet their needs. One person told us 'I always have somebody that I know and they know what they are doing.'
People had a copy of the service's complaints procedure and were confident that any complaints or issues would be dealt with.
