During a routine inspection

The people who use this service told us that they like to be called residents. Residents told us that they were involved in their care planning and that they were able to choose the activities they wanted to do. One person told us, 'I like to go shopping every day and I do. Look at what I have bought' Another person said, 'I only do the activities if I want to, I am playing dominoes today'.

Residents said they felt cared for and supported by staff. They said they felt safe in their home and that they were happy with their bedrooms.

Overall, we have found that 3, Park Avenue meets the essential standards but to maintain this we have suggested that some improvements are made. Please see main report for this information.
