The atmosphere within the We saw positive interactions between staff and people who use the service, with staff being jovial and supportive towards the needs of people.

We saw that staff treated people with respect and maintained their privacy and dignity.

However, we do have some concerns that correct procedures are not always followed when incidents happened at the service. We also did not see that the environment promoted the independence of people with dementia care needs. There is also no registered manager in post.

People receive an appropriate level of support, and this is enhanced by the up to date care plans.

The environment of the home was generally well maintained, and the atmosphere calm and relaxed.
