During a routine inspection

We spoke with two people who used the service they told us that they liked living at Conniburrow Boulevard. One person said 'I like living here, I have friends here and I can make decisions about how to spend my time'.

People told us that they had privacy locks on their bedroom doors for which they had a key and they also told us that they had an electronic fob that enabled them to enter their home independently. One person said 'I am going out to the shops today and will be seeing my girlfriend later'.

One person said 'the staff are very nice and I feel safe living here; I know what is in my care plan and the staff know how I want to be supported'.

One person said 'the home is always kept clean and tidy; staff help us keep our rooms clean and help us with our laundry'.

During a routine inspection

We spoke with all of the six people who lived at Conniburrow Boulevard; people told us that they were able to make decisions about their lives, including making decisions about their care, treatment and support.

All of the people we spoke with told us they were supported well at Conniburrow Boulevard and that the staff knew how they needed and wished to be supported. They told us that they got on well with staff; one person said 'I like living here, the staff are good and we are all friends'. People told us that they knew how to raise concerns should they need to do so.

However we found the provider was not meeting essential standards of quality and safety in relation to care and welfare and medication.
