During a routine inspection
We spoke to three people who use the service who were able to tell us about their experiences. They told us 'it's very nice here and the food is nice', 'the staff are really nice to me' and 'I really like it here'. However, one resident also said that there was 'not much to do' and 'I don't like to sit in the lounge as there's no-one I can talk to.'
We spoke with five relatives of people who use services. The majority of feedback was very positive. Comments included 'the staff are fantastic, I can't fault them'; 'I would come here' and 'the staff seems good and it's clean'. However, one relative also commented 'there isn't a lot going on, they're just sat about a lot' with another saying 'they used to take them on trips but there's been nothing recently'.
We spoke with three of the home's care staff and the home manager. Staff told us that they enjoyed working at the home, were well supported by management and thought that the home provided a good service.
