During a routine inspection
Relatives told us that they were asked for their comments and that any concerns were dealt with quickly. Relatives said that, "she gets very good care here and I can talk to them, I can speak to the keyworker and the manager is very good." Another relative told us, "any issues and you just mention it once and it is done."
Only trained staff were allowed to give medication and the management checked that this was given correctly. A member of staff said, "Some of the medication is very important and we are not allowed to be distracted" With reference to the administration of medicines.
Staff said that they were supported by the management team and had regular supervision. Staff told us that, "the manager makes sure that it is done to the best of our ability and makes sure that proper things are in place." Staff also told us that they were also supported by their colleagues and were able to sit down with their colleagues and talk about things .
The provider carried out checks on the way that the service was delivered by speaking with people and checking that tasks were done when they were supposed to be done.
