During a routine inspection
People had received a full assessment of their needs prior their admission to Raymond House. The care plans and risk assessments had been devised from the initial assessments. People told us that they had received a full assessment of their needs before they moved to Raymond House.
People told us that they felt safe. One person said, 'I would make sure that people knew about it if I didn't.' Another person said, 'The staff are lovely, they look after me well and make sure that I keep safe.'
The home was clean and tidy and a handyman was employed to carry out minor repairs and maintenance. General improvements to the environment are still needed to ensure that Raymond House meets the needs of people who live there.
We found that the records were stored appropriately.
