During an inspection in response to concerns

The people who use the service that we spoke with told us they were happy with the quality of care privided at Roberttown Nursing Home. Comments included: "staff are nice", "As happy as you can be" and "very good". We spoke to two relatives of people using the service and they raised a few concerns. One person told us that they had not been informed that their relative had been unwell recently and, another relative raised concerns about staff training in moving and handling techniques.

The care staff whom we spoke with told us that the quality of care was good at Robertown Nursing Home. One nuse told us that they have been working very hard recently to improve standards.

During a routine inspection

We talked to people who live at Roberttown Hall about the care and support they receive. One person told us staff had talked to them about the care they needed; about what time they wanted to get up and where they wanted to eat their meals. Another person told us that they had been involved in their care plan and they could spend their day as they choose to. Another person said they had recently moved to the home and their daughter had been included in talking to the manager about what support they needed.
