During a routine inspection
Relative of people that used the service also told us they were happy with the care their relative was receiving. One person told us 'X is really well looked after' and another said 'We had a good look around before X moved in. We'd heard good things about it and we've been really pleased.' Relatives told us that the service communicated well with them about the wellbeing of their relative. One person commented 'They always call me if there are any problems'.
The provider of the service had effective systems in place for checking that new staff were suitable to work in the home before they started work. There were systems for checking on the quality of the service at regular intervals and this included asking people that used the service, and their relatives, for their views.
