Capable, compassionate and inclusive leaders

Staff felt included in the service and told us they were supported in their role. Overwhelmingly we received compliments about the registered manager’s manner and conduct. Tender-Care Services Limited was a medium sized, family run service which focused on individuality. The registered manager and staff told us of the importance of supporting people in their home environment and helping them to maintain independence for as long as possible.

Staff practices and care were underpinned by policies and procedures which were regularly updated to ensure they remained comprehensive.

Freedom to speak up

Staff were confident in raising concerns, explaining to us how they had a voice within the service. The registered manager felt comfortable and confident in liaising with external health and social care professionals to ensure people’s safety and joined up care.

Policies and procedures within the service ensured there was a structure for speaking up, raising concerns and whistleblowing.
