We spoke with four patients who told us they were satisfied with the service provided. They told us they were always able to book an appointment that suited their needs.Patients gave consent for treatment and care either verbally or in writing. We saw that treatment options were discussed and sufficient time given for patients to talk about their health issues with their practitioner.
Patients were not protected from the risk of abuse as staff had not received training in the safeguarding of vulnerable adults. There were no written instructions for staff to follow in order to report suspected abuse.
Patients were protected against the risks associated with medicines because the provider was ensuring that appropriate arrangements were in place to manage medicines.
There was a system in place to ensure the provider monitored and maintained the quality of service provision at the practice.
