We talked with five people who used the service. People told us they could get up when they wanted and go out when it suited them. Staff told us they involved people in decisions about their care by asking them what they would like each time care was provided. We observed people had their privacy maintained and were addressed in a respectful way.
People we spoke with told us "care could not be faulted". We saw staff knew about the people they cared for.
People told us they knew how to report concerns about their care. Staff were knowledgeable about how to recognise and report abuse.
People told us call bells were not always answered promptly. Staff told us staffing levels were improving. We saw overall the providers recommended staffing levels were being achieved.
The provider had a system in place to monitor the quality of the service however aspects of the providers routine audit programme had not been carried out since 2011.
We observed care was not always delivered in line with care plans and people were not assessed and monitored to meet their needs
