During a routine inspection
Before people arrived they were asked to complete a comprehensive medical history form. There was also a specific questionnaire that people had to complete before they had an MRI to make sure that it was safe for them to do so. In recent patient feedback the majority of people rated the overall service as "excellent" or "very good". There was an emergency policy and procedure in place which staff were aware of. The service had emergency equipment and drugs available.
Overall, there were effective systems in place to reduce the spread of infection. On the day of the inspection the service was clean and tidy.
Staff undertook regular training appropriate to their roles. They received annual appraisals where their performance was discussed and development plans put in place for the year.
The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people receive.
