The assessment commenced on 4 November 2024 and was completed on 22 November 2024. Positive OT and Case Management Ltd. is a specialist case management service providing oversight and support to adults and children with complex injuries. At the time of our assessment the service was supporting 14 people with regulated activity. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This assessment was carried out using remote technology and we did not visit the locations’ office. We spoke with people, relatives and staff and the senior management team. We reviewed 14 quality statements, including all of the quality statements in the well-led key question. The overall rating at this assessment is good. We found the provider had made improvements to their governance processes and comprehensive audits and quality checks were in place. Safe and effective processes were in place. Staff were recruited safely and had the necessary skills, training and support to carry out their role. Risks relating to people’s health, safety and welfare were robustly assessed and regularly reviewed. The service coordinated bespoke and person-centred care packages which focused on people’s individual needs and wishes. People were supported to have choice and control and give feedback on their care. The provider worked collaboratively with a range of other professionals to ensure good outcomes for people. The registered manager demonstrated positive values and strong leadership skills and the service was well run and managed.
