People who use the service were complimentary about the staff and were satisfied with how the care is delivered. They said staff understand how their needs should be met. One person said, 'They're all very nice, very helpful.'
A visitor who visits the home on a regular basis said, 'The quality of care is very good and people are treated very well.'
Staff told us that people receive a good service and the care is centred around what people want. One staff said, 'People are looked after very well. They are given choices. We follow what people want. Staff listen, they talk to people, when you spend time you can see it's good.'
Health and social care professionals provided mixed feedback about the staff team. One agency told us they found all staff members helpful and do as is asked. Another agency told us that sometimes staff are unhelpful and they don't always appear to know what is going on. They thought some call outs could be avoided. Another agency said, 'The staff seem motivated and enthusiastic and generally organised. There have been a number of staff changes recently but the new team seem just as keen to learn and be involved as the previous ones.'
