Christine Asbury joined CQC as a non-executive director in June 2023.
Christine has worked as the chief executive of several organisations including care providers, a social enterprise and an autism educational charity.
Christine started her career working in not-for-profit organisations dedicated to physical disability, health and older people’s care. She was most recently CEO of residential care provider WCS Care from 2012 to 2020.
She was a board member of the National Care Forum from 2014 to 2020, a member of Health Education England’s advisory group on digital literacy and also sat on our external reference group on technological innovation.
