Our infection prevention and control inspections

We now look at infection prevention and control (IPC) measures as part of our assessment framework.

This means that we assess how well all providers live up to this quality statement:

We assess and manage the risk of infection. We detect and control the risk of it spreading and share any concerns with appropriate agencies promptly.

The old infection prevention and control judgements with ticks and crosses for adult social care services have been removed from profile pages as these will no longer be updated.
