On or before 26 June 2024, the employer was found in breach of regulations 6(1)(a), 6(5)(a) and 12(5).

Description

An Improvement Notice was issued to the employer under Section 21 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 following an inspection of the nuclear medicine department. This identified concerns around the content of procedures, access to referral guidelines and arrangements for carers and comforters.

The employer submitted evidence and was deemed to comply with this Notice on 18 October 2024.
