When applying to add a partner, the new partner will need to show they have been checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
The check must have been completed within the last twelve months. It must be an enhanced check. This will include any barring information.
You are most likely to need a CQC-countersigned DBS check. This includes extra checks on your identity
Find out what DBS check you need: DBS checks for CQC registration.
You will need to tell us your DBS number as part of the application. You might have another DBS number from a previous job, but a CQC-countersigned DBS number is different. If you do not have the correct DBS check, we will reject your application.
