The Homerton University Hospital site, part of Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, has been rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The trust remains rated as Good overall following the previous inspection in 2018.
This was a focused inspection carried out between 28 and 29 January 2020 which covered three core services; medical care (focused on older people’s care), end of life care and maternity services.
Routine inspections were suspended by CQC on 16 March 2020 to support and reduce the pressure on health and social care services during the COVID-19 pandemic. CQC, as well as providers, wants to be able to prioritise keeping people safe during this time.
