Newgrange Residential Home is not meeting essential standards of quality and safety.
The Care Quality Commission has told Newgrange of Chesthunt Limited that it must take action to improve services at Newgrange Residential Home.
The Care Quality Commission has published a report on the CQC website, following a recent review of compliance by our inspectors.
The review concludes that the provider is not meeting one or more essential standards and improvements are needed. CQC inspectors will follow up to make sure improvements are made.
Amanda Sherlock, CQC’s director of Operations, said: "By law, providers of certain adult social care and health care services have a responsibility to make sure they are meeting essential standards of quality and safety. These are the standards everyone should be able to expect when they receive care.
"We have told the provider where they need to improve and our inspectors will follow up to ensure those improvements are made. If we find that the service does not make progress, then we will consider further action."
